Our study group sessions are educationally based.  We will use the study Guide developed by Dr. Lucretia Carter Berry and the documentary Race the Power of an Illusion. This will lead us to deepen our understanding of racism, its historical context, and strategies for combating it.
 

Education: Explore the historical roots and manifestations of racism which leads to context of what’s really going on.

Empathy: Foster understanding and empathy.

Action: Develop actionable strategies for combating racism in our communities and beyond.
