Dan Berry is the author of the successful book Navigating Diversity in Our Most Segregated Hour, and advises
individuals & organizations on how to take first steps toward racial healing.
He has pastored for 40 years in Iowa. After pastoring in predominately white spaces for several years he began to realize the need to bring about racial healing in the body of Christ. For the last 30 years he has worked to bridge ethnic and cultural divides, a work that has led him into confronting the churches complicity in upholding systems of racism.
"Let us come out of the shadows of complacency and find ourselves desiring to heal the divisions that are so prevalent among us."
- Dan Berry
Have you ever wondered why in an age where so much progress has been made in the area of race issues, there is still so much division?
Why, in an age where so many people are expressing a heart for healing, is there so much fear around having the conversations that would bring us together?
Even in our most sacred places we are at a loss as to what to do about the divides. We continue to find ourselves in segregated spaces.
This book will help you gain context to what is going on and help you find the courage and motivation to take your first steps towards real racial healing.
Dan Berry is available for speaking engagements to various groups and will tailor the content to fit the specific needs of your group. Large or small, spiritual or secular, his 40 years of public speaking and experience will bring a productive learning experience to any group.
